My Parents
My parents are like the military.
They stalk the house
with curious and strict eyes
Then sleeps throughout the night.
But when they wake up...
Their medals are clanking straight against their chest
& roars at me for attention
they bark orders as my mom rages
through the house with my dad:
" Throw away the garbage! "
" Clean your room! "
Then goes back to the kitchen
I am like a soldier who carries out what they say.
