The Geary Act The Geary Act was similar to the Exclusion Act. The reason why it was similar is because both law was not allowing the Chinese to come to America. The Chinese who were in America would be sent to China. If they do not follow the law they would be sent to prison. They would be in jail. The Chinese were being Discriminated because the whites were mobbing and killing them. In addition the whites were being racist.

The Geary Act. The Geary Act was very similar to the Exclusion Act. This also didnt allow chinese immigrants to come to America. Once the Exclusion act was over for 10 years they made this Geary Act and this had made chinese immigrants can't come to the U.S for another 10 years. This was very bad becuase wasn't 10 years of no chinese immigrants coming to America enough??? This wasn't fair to the Chinese people.

The Geary Act This act was aimed at Chinese; this law is almost like the Chinese Exclusion Act. Except this the government made one. This law prohibited Chinese Americans, Immigrants from doing anything. This law lasted another 10 years after the Chinese Exclusion Act ended. One of the sections said that Chinese Immigrants or Chinese Americans could not get Habeas Corpus. As time passed the Chinese population became less and lesser. This law is just the same as the other law and it is making it worse for Chinese immigrants.
